Pre-Service Questionnaire: Essential for Your Hot Tub Service
To ensure the best possible service for your hot tub, all servicing packages and appointments are subject to the completion of a pre-service questionnaire. This short questionnaire allows us to confirm your hot tub’s make and model, verify accessibility for our wellness teams, ensure it’s hygienic, and in good working order with no faults. Completing this is crucial before we can arrange your appointment, so we’ll send you link in your order confirmation email after checkout. Comprehensive Water Analysis: We begin with a thorough analysis of your hot tub’s water chemistry. This includes testing for pH levels, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and sanitizer levels (chlorine or bromine). This analysis helps us determine the precise adjustments needed to ensure safe and balanced water, optimising your bathing experience and protecting your hot tub’s components.
Control Pad Functionality Check: We meticulously test all functions of your hot tub’s control panel. This includes verifying that all pumps, lights, and heating elements are operating correctly. We ensure that all buttons and displays are responsive and functioning as intended, identifying and addressing any potential control system issues.
Pump-Assisted Drain Down: We utilise a pump-assisted drain down to efficiently and thoroughly remove all water from your hot tub. This method ensures a more complete drain compared to gravity draining, minimising residual water and debris.
Wet Vac Clean: After draining, we perform a thorough wet vacuum clean of the hot tub’s interior. This includes removing any remaining debris, sediment, or biofilm from the shell, seats, and footwell.
Filter Clean – Using Specialist Filter Cleaning Agent: We remove and clean your hot tub’s filters using a specialist filter cleaning agent. This removes built-up oils, dirt, and debris, restoring the filters’ efficiency and ensuring optimal water filtration. We also inspect the condition of the filters, and let the customer know if they need to be replaced.
Hot Tub Acrylic Surface Cleaned: We meticulously clean the acrylic surface of your hot tub using a non-abrasive cleaner. This removes any stains, watermarks, or mineral deposits, restoring the shell’s shine and appearance.
Re-fill with Fresh Water: We carefully refill your hot tub with fresh, clean water, ensuring the correct water level is achieved.
Refitting of Filters:
Once the filters have been thoroughly cleaned, they are refitted into the hot tub. We make sure they are fitted correctly to ensure proper filteration. Chemical / Water Balancing – Using Customer’s Chemicals: Using your provided chemicals, we carefully balance the water chemistry based on the initial water analysis. This includes adjusting pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and sanitizer levels to achieve optimal water balance. Ensure System is Operating as Normal: We perform a final operational check to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. This includes verifying that pumps, heaters, and lights are operating as intended, and that there are no error messages or leaks. We also check that all of the jets are functioning correctly.
