General Hazards:

• Chemical Burns: Many hot tub chemicals are corrosive and can cause severe burns to skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. Handle with care and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified on the product label, including gloves, eye protection, and potentially a respirator.
• Irritation: Even diluted solutions can cause irritation to skin, eyes, and respiratory system. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not inhale dusts or fumes.
• Reactions: Mixing different chemicals can create dangerous and potentially explosive reactions. Never mix different hot tub chemicals together unless explicitly instructed to do so by the manufacturer. Always add chemicals to the hot tub water separately, following the recommended order and waiting the appropriate time between additions.
• Ingestion: Swallowing hot tub chemicals can be fatal. Keep all chemicals out of reach of children and pets. Do not store chemicals in unmarked containers or containers that could be mistaken for food or drink.
• Environmental Hazards: Some chemicals can be harmful to aquatic life and the environment. Follow disposal instructions carefully and do not discharge chemicals into drains or waterways.

Specific Chemical Hazards (Examples – consult product label for specifics):

• Sanitizers (Chlorine, Bromine): Can cause skin and eye irritation, respiratory problems, and can react violently with other chemicals. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from combustible materials.
• pH Adjusters (e.g., pH Increaser, pH Decreaser): Can be corrosive and cause burns. Handle with care and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Shock Treatments (e.g., Potassium Monopersulfate): Can be strong oxidizers and cause fire or explosion if mixed with combustible materials. Store in a cool, dry place.
• Alkalinity Increaser: Can be irritating to skin and eyes.

First Aid Measures:

• Skin Contact: Immediately flush affected area with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  
• Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids open. Seek immediate medical attention.
• Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Seek medical attention if respiratory problems persist.
• Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Seek immediate medical attention.

Storage and Handling:

• Store chemicals in their original containers, tightly closed, in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
• Keep chemicals out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not store chemicals near food or drink.
• Wear appropriate PPE when handling chemicals.
• Do not reuse empty containers. Dispose of containers according to local regulations.

Emergency Contact:

In case of a chemical emergency, contact your local poison control center or emergency services immediately. Have the product label information available.

Chemicals Return Policy

Please be aware that unopened chemicals in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of any opened chemical products.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted items, unless the item is faulty or damaged.

• We recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining proof of postage.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. You have the right to return faulty or misdescribed goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. If a fault develops outside of this period, you may still be entitled to a repair or replacement.
