Your Wellis Warranty Coverage
10-Year Shell Structure Warranty
Guarantees the structural integrity and configuration of the spa shell, ensuring it remains free from water loss caused by manufacturing defects.
7-Year Shell Surface Warranty
Protection against blistering, cracking, or delamination of the spa’s interior acrylic surface.
3-Year Cabinet Warranty
Covers the spa cabinet against peeling, cracking, or shrinking. Note: Natural fading and weathering are expected over time and are not considered defects.
3-Year No-Leak Plumbing Warranty
Covers spa fittings, internal plumbing lines, and jet assemblies against leaks due to defects in materials or workmanship.
3-Year Control Box & Display Module Warranty
Protects the display and control box (including the heater) against defects. Excludes fuses, bulbs, and gaskets.
2-Year Specialised Systems
Includes coverage for the factory-installed Pulsar Hydrotherapy System, Ozone Generator, In.Clear Antiseptic System, and UV-C Disinfection System (excluding the bulb).
2-Year Multimedia & Lighting
Covers all factory-installed audio system components (power supplies, speakers, wiring) and LED lighting systems.
1-Year UV-C Bulb Warranty
A dedicated warranty for the UV-C bulb, acknowledging its natural 5,000-hour lifetime.
2-Year Standard & Optional Components
Covers pumps, motors, jets, air regulators, valves, and diverters. Consumables like filter cartridges, lids, pillows, and cover locks are warranted to be defect-free at the time of delivery.
2-Year Thermal Cover Warranty
Protection against failure due to material or workmanship defects. Excludes natural weathering and fading.
The Small Print: Terms and Limitations
Extent of Warranty. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser of the SPA when invoiced and delivered. This warranty begins from the compilation date of the factory invoice of the SPA. This warranty terminates upon any transfer of ownership, prior to the expiration of the warranty period.
General Limitations & Exclusions
- Maintenance: Damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or limescale deposits is not covered.
- Modifications: The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by user alterations. Any unauthorised additions or deletions to the unit void the warranty.
- Installation: Warranty does not cover failure caused by improper installation, incorrect voltage supply, or electrical modifications not performed by authorised personnel.
- Wear and Tear: Defects resulting from normal wear and tear, chemical misuse, or “Acts of God” (lightning, floods, etc.) are excluded.
- Access & Costs: This warranty does not include labour, transportation, or costs incurred in removing/reinstalling units, or costs relating to obtaining access for repairs.
- Commercial Use: All Wellis spas (except the Holiday Let Spa range) are excluded from warranty coverage if used in a commercial or industrial setting. Holiday Let Spas carry a one-year commercial warranty.
- External Factors: Radio reception is not covered as it is dependent on local conditions and high-voltage proximity.
Manufacturer’s Rights: The manufacturer reserves the right to replace defective parts with factory or remanufactured parts and provides a 1-year general warranty for individual spare parts.
